PRESENCE OF THE ABSENCE

Goodbyes are painful and not everything can be looked as, “endings are a new beginning.” When a close one leaves, a relationship in its current form ends and it pains. At times, or should I say, most times, the pain is unbearable and that is the reality at that point in time!

Shoo the pain away, pretend that it does not exist- the void, the space that the exit of a person creates is present.

All of us have experienced this human aspect of pain when we either lost someone to death or to ego or to circumstances. Shying from this reality is a pure waste of energy; it may help to stay with the pain or at least, acknowledge it or cry to let the pain be experienced!

Closures are integral to human psychology and it may take years before questions get answered. Life has a beautiful way of working itself out and humans have that tough resilience to survive and live even without those they once thought were their lifelines!
